Service Design

Course duration 3 days.  Service Design is ultimately responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of all aspects of the service environment. Good design is fundamental to how services are transitioned and operated. It becomes a costly exercise to revisit and re-work basic design issues once the service is established.  “Right first time” is an important principle of Service Design, and the course considers how this can be achieved through the following areas of study.

  • Management and control of Service Design activities
  • Management and application of Service Design concepts, inputs, outputs and activities
  • Knowledge of principles of Service Design
  • Management of Service Design processes
  • Control and co-ordination of technology-related activities
  • How to implement Service Design
